about

Originally released in 2007, this album has several twists and turns, but the overall focus of the album is based around the idea of Parallel World theory and how the anomaly of gravity is an indicator that Parallel Worlds do exist. If they do, then perhaps a lot of the occult and supernatural beliefs and theories of our world can be explained as being aspects and shadows of other worlds that lay alongside our own!

Some of the topics covered on this album:
The decay of beauty and the bittersweet memories we all have.
Betrayal. Staying true to our own self no matter what the cost.
Inner turmoil and demons, the notion of endlessness.
The special kind of altered state reserved for creativity, and how to get there.
That gripping fear of the unknown and metaphysical dread.
The burning of our souls in the fire and pit.
Feeling that evil is a physical force all around you, and what you can do. The metaphysics of TV with its hidden messages.
Being excluded by the morals of wider society.
Ghosts and demons both within and without.

Do you see anything you like sir?

Midnight Configuration were considered very ahead of their time and the most original band to emerge out of the UK goth scene. Despite the years passing since the band were active. The dark light keeps burning! ... more
