Midnight Configuration’s 1999 “Goth Wars” tour of Germany is the stuff of legend! This release is a collection of live recordings taken from several of the gigs from that tour and presents the band at their most raw! MC had to battle PA systems, power cuts and everything in between!
The darkened power of the band’s backing track, samplers, synths, and pitch-shifter vocals caused electronic mayhem wherever the band played. Especially if the sound technicians were most used to the moderate demands of blues, folk and pop bands.
This official bootleg album sonically captures the band ‘at war’ with vintage sound equipment. Hence the album title. This release is a collector’s item for fans of the band and archivists interested in the underground scene of the 1990s.
